Internship Fun!

I'm having a blast during my internship with Erin L. Hubbs.  We have been on several interesting photo safaris where I was able to photograph a dead crow, as well as some baby bird eggs (no worries, the eggs had already fallen from their nest and there was no hope left).  Here are some images that I have been working on the last several weeks.  Let me know what you think! Focus Stacking

In my macro class, we had to focus stack an image.  In order to do this, I had to use a focus stage and move it ever so slightly until the entire image was out of focus.  I then stacked all 30 images in photoshop for the final image.  First you will see the original image, followed by the stacked image.

What is it?

I love finding new things around my house that I think would look cool when shot with my macro lens.  Do you know what this is?

Glass - Light Field

In my macro class this week, we had to shoot glass.  I chose to go with a lightbulb that doesn't work anymore.  Here is what I came up with.

Guitar Series

My assignment this week in my macro class was to shoot a series of an object from 1:1 through 1:10.  I decided to use my sister's dusty old guitar.  Here are the shots from the series.
